Day 3 of the 30 DAYS OF HEALTHY HABITS:
You know that you need to eat more vegetables. In fact, yesterday's post was all about including a daily salad into your day. But, you may get tired of eating the same ol' vegetables.
I challenge you to try a new vegetable today to help keep things interesting. Let's look at some options: Kale, including black kale, asparagus, arugula, eggplant, red cabbage, artichoke and so many more.
You can add this new vegetable to your daily salad if appropriate, or you can lightly steam it. Grilling is also a nice option during this warmer, BBQ season.
Have you ever tried asparagus on the grill? Yum! Lay your asparagus on a sheet of aluminum foil. Add a tablespoon of coconut oil, garlic and pepper to taste. Wrap it up and place on the grill for a few minutes until tender.
