Day 24 of the 30 Days of Healthy Habits: Enjoy Healthy Fats
This is a touchy subject, especially among women. As women, we are often encouraged to follow a diet low in fat. But fats are an important part of a healthy diet and help our body function properly.
Here are some of the benefits.
Some healthy sources of fat are avocados, eggs, nuts and seeds and their butters, olive oil, flax seed oil, coconut oil, and fish oil.
For example, have a snack of fruit and nuts, or fruit and nut butter. Another great idea is wholegrain toast with avocado.
Healthy Habit: Enjoy some healthy fats every day.
