Begin your day with a nutritious breakfast no later than one hour after rising.
Imagine going without food for 12 hours or more. That's what happens. We have our evening meal, then sleep, and then we wake up and wait two, three or more hours before we eat. Or we run out the door with just a cup of coffee.
We need to get into the habit of eating a healthy breakfast within an hour of getting up. Breakfast is a very important meal. It refuels you after a long night. It gives you energy and helps to kick-start your metabolism. Go without breakfast and you will experience low energy, a slower metabolism, and you may also be very 'snippy' with people!
