It's easy to forget when you're at the computer or in front of the TV.
But sitting too long is not healthy.
It can affect your posture, your digestion, your organs will be more sluggish, you will have poor circulation, and your muscles will get weaker.
Not to mention that your energy will diminish.
We weren't meant to be sedentary. The body likes movement.
If you do need to sit, make a point of getting up and moving often...at least every hour.
If you have been sitting too long, do a Child's Pose to help lengthen out your spine.
With each breath in, feel your spine lengthening and your torso expanding.
Ahhhhh, that's more like it!
