Day 12 of the 30 Days of Healthy Habits: Do Something Relaxing
Here we are at the end of a long day. Let's check in with ourselves. Have we done anything relaxing today? If not, then consider having an Epsom salts bath to help you relax.
Epsom salts are magnesium sulphate mineral salts. Magnesium sulphate in a hot bath encourages relaxation. The warm, soothing atmosphere of having a bath sends an immediate message to your mind that it is time to relax. This is a perfect way to unwind at the end of the day.
• Fill a bathtub with water as hot as is comfortable.
• Add one to two cups of Epsom salts crystals to your bath water;
stir and allow this to dissolve.
• Add a few drops of essential oils to your bath water to increase
the relaxation effect. Lavender is an excellent choice.
Having an Epsom salts bath can be a great addition to your self-care regimen.
You will be assured of a great night’s sleep that will help regenerate and revitalize you.
