Day 8 of the 30 DAYS OF HEALTHY HABITS: Stay Active
We live in an automated world where physical activity has been significantly diminished. We drive everywhere, and we sit at our jobs for hours on end. When we come home, we sit again in front of the television or computer. Because of this lack of activity, over time our bodies become weak. Our heart and lungs are not challenged. Our muscles lose their tone. As the old adage goes, “Use it or lose it!”
Our bodies are meant to be active. We have to find ways to include physical activity into our daily lives. Whether it's a lunchtime walk, getting a workout at the gym, or a yoga class, start today.

Healthy Habit: Start today! Resolve to move your body for at least 20 minutes a day. Then add to that as you get stronger.
