my story

At age 46, I silenced a decade of fear and self-doubt—and stepped onto a bodybuilding stage for the first time. Wearing a tiny posing suit and facing a panel of judges, I discovered something unexpected: courage, power, and a brand-new version of myself.


That leap changed everything.


I went on to enjoy a 6-year professional bodybuilding career, culminating in a first-place win at an international competition in my early 50s—not bad for a mother of six and grandmother! I had never seen myself as an athlete, but it turns out it’s never too late to rewrite your story.


After my win, I felt a calling to share what I’d learned. I earned a certification as a  Holistic Nutritional Consultant and Personal Training Specialist and wrote my book Healthy Body for Life – A Guide for Women Over 40. To help women create lasting change, I also developed the 30-Day Guided Health Journal, a practical tool to build healthy habits step by step, and regularly share tips and inspiration through my blog. 


My mission: to help women feel strong, energized, and empowered—no matter their age or background.


Now in my 60s, I run and regularly compete in 10K races. 

Movement continues to be my medicine, my passion, and my message.
